2020 Predictions

Before I get into what my "brackets" look like, here are a few random thoughts and expectations for the 2020 season...

  • Tampa opens a new stadium, and WILL put in a bid to host SBXV, making it back-to-back years if awarded, and the 4th time in 15 years. With it being the historic 15th game, there should be other suitors though, and the league likely would opt to have it anywhere besides the same locale twice.
  • Yes, I will make SB host city graphics for your proposal if you want, and provide early notice.
  • I will not have the #1 pick in the coach draft this year, but should be Top 5.
  • Bill Belichick has slipped through as a DC for the final time, becoming a Head Coach next year, likely for the Jets.
  • Surprise teams in 2020? Packers, Falcons and Redskins.
  • Are the Cowboys the next Tampa or St.Louis, with back-to-back potential? Or are they the Cleveland Browns sandwiched in between the NEXT dynasty? I think neither. They are really good, perhaps in the mold of the Titans. They will be back, and have more chances to win one, but I don't think it will be this year.
  • Two GMs will be replaced in 2020.
  • The rookie pay scale will change.
  • The Buccaneers and Eagles have multiple 1sts next year already, but could see both teams as buyers at trade deadline.
  • This is likely my final year in RZL (and all madden leagues). Said it before, but with Wedding July 13th, and Student Teaching shortly after, it's likely finally time.
  • DHB will play in Carolina this year.

    AFC
  • Tennessee Titans
  • Buffalo Bills
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Pittsburgh Steelers

  • San Diego Chargers
  • Jacksonville Jaguars

    NFC
  • St. Louis Rams
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Chicago Bears

  • Atlanta Falcons
  • New Orleans Saints

    Super Bowl XV
Pittsburgh Steelers over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
