The Formula::
  • Teams will be ranked by adding their point total, lowest to highest.
  • "Win% Pre-GM" will be weighted between 1-4 points. The lowest 25% of teams will get 1, the next lowest 25% will get 2, the next lowest 25% will get 3, until the highest 25% of teams get 4.
  • "Win% With GM" will be ranked 1-40. Your rank will be how many points you get.
  • For GMs with multiple teams, they will be listed with their current team, but their "Win% Pre-GM" is calculated by averaging the win% of EACH franchise from 2006 up to the year THEY were GM of that team.
  • Each of the "Games to __ W's" categories will be ranked from 1-40. For the teams not qualifying in any category, they will all share the cutoff point total +5. (EXAMPLE:: Only 6 GMs have 75 wins, so they are ranked 1-6 and everyone else gets 12 points)
  • "Playoff Record" deducts 2 point from your total for EACH playoff win, and adds 1 point to your total for EACH playoff loss.
  • "Division Titles" deduct 1 points from your total for EACH Division Title won. For each consecutive win you get double the INITIAL point value Asleep.E. it does not continue to multiply, just double the initial point value, for each consecutive instance 1+2+2, etc.)
  • "Conference Titles" deduct 5 points from your total for EACH Conference Title won. For each consecutive win you get double the INITIAL point value Asleep.E. it does not continue to multiply, just double the initial point value, for each consecutive instance 5+10+10, etc.)
  • "Super Bowl Titles" deduct 10 points from your total for EACH Super Bowl Title won. For each consecutive win you get double the INITIAL point value Asleep.E. it does not continue to multiply, just double the initial point value, for each consecutive instance 10+20+20, etc.)
  • "GM Awards" deduct 1 point from your total for EACH time you win the GM of the Year, Coach of the Year, Good Guy of the Year, or Outstanding Contribution award.
  • Former GMs of status will be selected and added to compare against our current crew. The most successful retirees will be included to take us to a clean balance of 40 involved GMs, while other past GMs will make cameos in a non-ranked capacity, although it is displayed where they WOULD rank if they were included (although their presence has no impact on the other 40 teams rankings in any category).
  • Original RZL GMs have their "Win% Pre-GM" determined by 2005 NFL Standings.
  • The first seven categories all INCLUDE playoff records.
